On May 13, 2026, Amber convened its annual shareholder meeting for a thoughtful discussion on portfolio performance, strategic priorities, and the continued opportunity ahead for organic farmland investing. The meeting opened with remarks from Board Chair Anna Jones-Crabtree of Vilicus Farms. Speaking as both a board member and an organic farmer, Anna offered perspective on the current agricultural landscape and the important role organic farmers are playing in this moment.
CEO Chris Zuehlsdorff then shared an update on the company’s strategic direction, including key growth initiatives, financial priorities, and partnership opportunities. Drew Blankenbaker, VP of Farmer Relations, provided a closer look at the farm portfolio, highlighting strong performance across the company’s core Midwest hubs, improved portfolio stability, and the benefits of stronger underwriting standards and more proactive portfolio management. The meeting concluded with a robust Q&A session and a video centered on the theme “organic is good business.”
